Solo shame

My class was singing in music, and I was getting really into it cause it was my fave song by Jessie J. I was so caught up that I didn’t realize that everyone else had stopped – and all that was left was me wailing my heart out! Mega-cringe!

Shaming somersault!

I was running around the playground when I heard the school bell ring, so I charged over to line up. Suddenly I slipped on the wet ground and landed on my bum – in front of my entire class! Cringe or what?!

Erran, Cambridgeshire

Finale fail

I was playing the lead role in my school’s play, and we’d made it to the finale when I had to sing a last song. Everything was going fine, until suddenly I tripped over my microphone’s wire! I fell flat on my face in front of the entire audience – sooooo embarrassing!

X-tremely embarrassing

I was playing X Factor with my cousin one night. It was my turn to sing, but just as I opened my mouth, a fly flew in and I choked! My cousin could NOT stop laughing!

Leah, Ireland

Slap shame

I was swimming with my BFF when she said that she could lift me in the deep end, but then she let go of me. I can’t swim so I began to panic and started waving my arms about, and then I accidentally smacked a man across the face! Total cringe!

Football fail!

My class was playing football in PE and I wasn’t paying attention. All of a sudden I heard somebody shout, “Move!” but it was too late – the ball hit me right in the face! The whole match had to be paused for the teacher to check that I was OK! Aargh!

Lauren, Bury

Sleep-talking shame

I was at a sleepover at my BFF’s house when in the middle of the night I started talking about people I don’t like…and one of them was at the sleepover! Awkward!

Alice, Chessington

Mud mess

I was at my local stables and I was talking to my friend who was riding her horse behind me. I wasn’t really looking where I was going and suddenly I fell into a massive puddle of mud. My new clothes were so dirty, and I had to squelch the whole way home! What a mess!

Jasmin, Portsmouth

Exam embarrassment

I had a science exam one morning and was sooooo nervous that just as it started I suddenly farted really loudly! The whole class started to laugh and point – and they totally wouldn’t calm down, so I was given detention for distracting everyone! Embarrassing AND unfair!

Elisa, London

Disastrous dare

I was playing Truth or Dare with my BFF at lunch one day, and when it was my turn she dared me to go stand in the bin. I did, but then another of my friends threw his rice pudding and a carton of milk away, and they went all over me! Everyone was laughing, and I had to stay that way all day!

Mimi, LA

Tummy trouble

One day I was sitting in assembly next to my teacher. I hadn’t had a chance to eat breakfast that morning, and just when everyone was quiet for prayers my stomach started to rumble REALLY loudly! My teacher just stared at me, she looked sooooo unimpressed!

Kami, Scotland

What a cow-mmotion!

In my school’s Christmas pantomime I was given the part of the back end of Dolly the cow, and everyone was teasing me because of it. The other half of the cow was played by a cool girl in the year above, and at one point we were supposed to do a dance. It was really difficult from inside the costume, and on opening night I tripped up and landed right on top of her! Everyone was laughing, and we even got a special cheer at the curtain call! SO embarrassing!

Jasmine, Yorkshire

Trousers trauma

I was at the park with my friends, and I hadn’t realized just out small my trousers were on me now. I bent over to pick up my bag and rrrriiippppp! They split the whole way down the back! Everyone in the park could see, and cause we were nowhere near home I had to walk for miles before I could change them – total cringe-mare!

Georgina, Chesterfield

Shopping slip-up

I was Christmas shopping in town when I saw some girls from the year above at school. I wanted to act cool on my own, and I was walking backwards trying to catch their eye. Suddenly I slipped on a wet patch and fell over with a scream! Everyone turned and stared at me, including their group. Not exactly the way I wanted to get their attention!

Beth, Caithness

Mum mistake

In class one day I was going to ask my teacher a question, but I accidentally called her “Mum!” It was really loud, so everyone heard and people still make jokes about it – cringe!

Ellie, Wigan

Underwear overload

I was running late for school one day, so I got dressed really quickly while still half asleep and ran out of the house. At the bus stop everyone started laughing at me…I had no idea why until my friend pointed out that I’d put another pair of underwear on top of my tights instead of my skirt! SHAME!

Jessie, Little Clacton

Breaking Yawn

I was at the cinema watching Breaking Dawn, and was quite tired so I opened my mouth to yawn – but instead a huge burp came out! It was so loud, everyone turned to stare and we almost got thrown out cause my friends wouldn’t stop laughing! Cringe or what?!
